On many occasions, we repair original Honda navigation units with reading issues. To reach the DVD map reproducing mechanics, we perform the necessary maintenance and reprocess the entire unit, and the system stops working altogether.

In the case of the attached photograph, it occurred in the model: BB717PO, with a part number: 39541-SWA-E010-M1. In this case, the unit lowered the screen properly, read the discs well, but there was no image on the screen.
